I got all my notes in web, or desktop app
but huge amount of my notes are missing in my mobile app
the other day I found a few of my notes in my mobile app doesnt sync with web , and desktop app + my ipad app ( these three all working fine)
I was trying to solve it, so I deleted the app and reinstoled it
and now, huge amount of my notes are all gone in my mobile app.
fortunately, web, desktop app , ipad app working fine, all my notes are there.
how can I solve this problem.
my mobile app(android) is still lack of notes, due to deleting reinstoling process.
and I’m worried if my notes are all gone in my other 3 devices as well, in any seconds (web, desktop, ipad)
how do I save all these notes safely in the future as well
and get all my notes back in my mobile devices right now

Hi. You can backup your notes in the web app. Open the hamburger menu (top left), settings, tools, and export your notes. That will download a zip file with all your data. Then you can feel safe.
I don’t know why the Android mobile app is not syncing properly. Did you remove the data when you uninstalled the app? Did you have to login after installing the app? You can use the web app on your phone while waiting for a solution.

yes. I had to log in when I reinstalled. Is log in relevant to this error? I think I don’t have to log in, too. if my device is still same. My mobile app still has the same problem

A new login after reinstalling proves that you’re not using possibly corrupted stale data. So that’s good. Once you’ve logged in with the app, you never need to login again. This is different from the web app which requires frequent logins.
Did you mark this thread Solved? Because it sounds like you still have the problem on Android.

Experiencing missing notes can be frustrating, but rest assured, the app’s support team is here to help. Reach out to them promptly with details about your situation. I recommend you export a copy of your notes @annanabada https://simplenote.com/help/#export. I also recommend you double-check the email you’ve used to log in on web, desktop app, iPad app where you’re seeing all your notes just fine.
Then I recommend you uninstall Simplenote on your Android device, restart it, reinstall the app and log in with that same email. If that doesn’t help, please let me know.

Losing notes during app reinstallations can be a headache. First, check if your mobile app has a manual sync option—it might need a manual push to sync with your other devices. Also, make sure your app is updated to the latest version. Sometimes, older versions can have sync issues.

As for future safety, consider using a reliable cloud-based service like notesonline.com. I use it for storing important notes across devices—it’s been reliable for keeping everything synced and accessible.
