My note I’ve been adding to for 4 years has just disappeared

  ive been working on a note for over 4 years and it has just completely disappeared. I tried logging into the web version and it also isn’t there. I can’t have this happen to me, please.

  Hi @guyser88! Lost notes can usually be found either in the Trash or in the history of an existing note. To look in the Trash open a web browser and go to https://app.simplenote.com. Then click the hamburger menu at the top left and select “Trash”.

  It’s worth restoring some notes from the Trash so you can view their history. Pay particular attention to any blank notes you can see.

  To search the history, open a note and click the ellipsis icon (⋯) at the top then select History…
