Imported backed up notes, your server was not sync now it sync but I have multiple copies of the same notes 3 to 5 copies of each note, have logged out many times logged in same problem

Hi. This happened because the notes are not files with actual filenames, they are just different notes with titles. The title is sort of like the subject line in an email; emails with the same subject are not the same email. So, when you added the backup to your existing collection, the backup notes were just added to the collection. Simplenote really has no way of knowing whether they are duplicates, or maybe similar notes with slightly different content.
This is a difficult problem to resolve. Here’s a strategy you might use. If you have a clean backup, you could create a new Simplenote account using a gmail account, say. Import the backup to the new account. Login to each account in a different browser tab, using the web app, app.simplenote.com. For each restored note, find the newest version not from the backup. If it has any new content, copy that content to the note in the new account. Eventually, the new account will have a clean copy of everything. Finally, you could delete everything in the old account, create a backup from the new account, import it to the old account, then delete the temporary new account. Or you could just begin using the new account, keeping the old one as a security backup.
