Mobile app android not working since last week

Since last week my mobile app was syncing my notes across the network. Pc and web apps are working fine. Today I decided to reset my mobile app by reinstalling it but it gets stuck at login screen and gives an error (Could not log in with provided email address and password). Do note that my web and pc apps are working fine still.

I have been experiencing the same problem.
-My device experiencing issues with Simplenote is a Galaxy Tab S2 running Android 7.0.
-Given that my troubleshooting attempts have involved re-installing the app, I’m reasonably sure that means I’m running version 2.32 on Android.
-My desktop which is experiencing no issues with Simplenote is running Windows 10 Home 22H2.
-The version of Simplenote on my desktop is version 2.22.1
-I have accessed Simplenote using Firefox on desktop (129.0.1) and on android (129.0)
The app on my tablet does not seem to be syncing, which is to say that it does not seem to be updating in line with changes on the desktop or web app, nor do changes on the android app affect the web or desktop apps. The desktop app has continued to sync with the online app without issue.
Closing and re-opening the app and restarting the tablet have no effect.
Since the 9th of August, when I’ve tried to log out of the app and log back in again on Android, I got an error message ‘could not log in with the provided email address and password.’ However, if I use those credential on the website, still on tablet, I am able to log in.
Restarting the app and the tablet does not change this. But uninstalling and re-installing the app seemingly logs me back in, but the notes shown revert to a specific point (even if I modified them before uninstalling), and still are not syncing.

Bro I got the same issue as you but I cannot even login in the mobile app. The web and computer ones are working fine. Dunno what is happening. There is a updated beta version of the app available on third party site “up to down” but I am not willing to risk my data by installing app from third party sources. Hope they resolve this issue as fast as possible, Synching is one of the main reasons I use this app.

Have any of you changed password recently? Simplenote has had problems with changed passwords failing on different platforms.

no haven’t changed password. It just stopped synching all of a sudden and this problem is only with the mobile app(android one).

Hi,
I have same issue:
– Android app recently stop syncing
– I didn’t change password nor update app.
– After logging out, I could not log in anymore , getting error “Could not log in with provided email address and password”. Login in webapp (Firefox on linux) works fine.
-I cleared android cache, clered app data, reinstalled app, but its still the same – can not log in.
Please adwaise how to solve it. -
