Meaning of Icon?
-
Some of my notes show a small head and shoulders silhouette icon to the left of the pin icon for pinned notes. What is its meaning and how is that setting applied and removed? Notes showing that icon are not appearing on other devices that use the same Simplenote account.

Hi. Which device is showing the icon? Is it in the Simplenote app or the web app (browser)? Are these new apps created on this device?

Thanks for your interest.
Those icons are only on notes when viewed on an Android app and affecting sharing notes with others of my own Android devices. The notes were most likely created on an Andoid device but I am not 100% sure.
I can send screen a shot if that would be useful, but then let me know how (email or whatever) because apparently that is not an available option via messages on this forum.

Just to clarify, is this the Simplenote Android app, or another app that can create Simplenotes?

@wordstar5964090f71 The head and shoulders icon means that you’ve shared the note with a collaborator. You can check which collaborators you’ve shared the note with according to these steps:
- Open the note
- Tap the three-dot icon on the upper-right corner
- Tap “Collaborators”
