Markdown Preview not rendering in Android (Latest Update)

  Since the last update, the “Preview” mode in Simplenote for Android is not functioning correctly. Instead of rendering Markdown tags into formatted HTML, the preview still displays the raw text along with the Markdown tags (e.g., it shows text instead of bold text).
  Steps to Reproduce:

  • Open a new or existing note.
  • Add any Markdown syntax (headers, bold, lists, etc.).
  • Tap on the “Preview” icon/tab.
  • The text remains unformatted, showing the raw Markdown syntax.
    Expected Behavior:
    The preview should render the Markdown tags into a clean, formatted HTML view as it did in previous versions.
    Actual Behavior:
    The preview displays the raw Markdown source code, making it impossible to check the final layout of the note.
