MacOS default formating for notes

  Hi,

  On iOS and Android, the first line of a note (in text mode) appears with a larger font than the body. This is a logical behaviour, as the first line is also the title on the left panel.

  However, this behaviour differs on MacOS. Could it be homogenised?

  I’m seeing the titled first line on Mac, which appears larger than the following lines.

  Can you confirm the version number you’re using on your Mac?

  @staff-reid I use Simplenote 2.23.2 on MacOS 13.7.8 (22H730).

  Note that I installed variable-size fonts and resolved conflicts with fixed-size fonts using Apple FontBook.

  It looks like you’re using the Electron version of Simplenote (2.23.2). Could you try installing the standard version from the Mac App Store instead? That version is currently 2.21, and it should display the first line in larger text as expected.

  Hi @staff-frank I could but this is a strange move for me to downgrade the software to an older version.

  They are at different version levels, but they are completely different implementations as well. The Electron implementation is multi-platform (Windows, Mac, Linux, Web), while the Mac version is Mac-specific.
