Lost notes after email changes

    So, I changed my sign-in email to a new one, but decided to stick with the original and changed it back. In the process I hit the option to sign in with wordpress, and now whenever I log in (with the same email and password as before), my notes are gone and the “Welcome to simplenote” note is there.

    I’m guessing my notes are bound to my WordPress account now, but it gives me an error when I try to log in with that WordPress account, so I’m at a loss for what to do.

    The error I get on desktop
    Unauthorized
    The server could not verify that you are authorized to access the URL requested. You either supplied the wrong credentials (e.g. a bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.

    The error I get on the mobile app
    Error
    Couldn't log in with WordPress.com. Please try again.

    I’m having similar issues. I have changed my email address and now I can’t login with both my new and old address.

    Hi, I hop you don’t mind me piggy-backing on this topic but I’m having a similar issue.

    I sign into Simplenote via WordPress. I changed the email I use to sign into WP and this morning when I logged into Simplenote I only saw a Welcome to Simplenote note.
