lost notes after creating a simplenotes account

I had Simplenote pre-installed on my android phone, and I used to take notes.
I then created an account on Simplenote, and I logged-in. As a result, all my previous note taken when I had no Simplenote account, disappeared.
How can I retrieve them? Consider that now I have only a screen that asks me to log in (with email or wordpress), and I see no way to go back to simplenotes as it was before I created my account. -
Hi. Your pre-installed Simplenote app must have had an account using an email address and password, which you should know. You would have had to create the account when you first opened the Simplenote app. Try using that original email address.
