Lost notes

  Hi,

  Yesterday all my notes disappeared from the app then reappeared. However, some of my most recent notes weren’t there. How can I retrieve them?

  (Please note, they are not in my trash folder – I’ve searched)

  Have you checked the web site in a browser? Your data may be there, but the app is not recognizing it for some reason.

  Did anything else happen when your notes disappeared, then reappeared? Maybe lost WiFi or cell connection, app crashed and was restarted, etc. I’ve used Simplenote on iOS daily for many years, and never experienced this sort of disappearance.

  Could you please identify your platform (computer type), OS version, and app version? These may be obvious to you, but Simplenote appears on so many different systems.

  I’m sorry to hear of the trouble with your notes. Are you using Simplenote on more than one device? Can you check on the other devices or on the web app at https://app.simplenote.com to see if the notes are available there?

  It would also be helpful to know the details regarding your platform as mentioned by @johnswift37 above. I’ll be happy to try and see if we can help you recover these once we have those details.
