Lost note likely due to sync glitch — would love to recover

  I recently got a new phone, and I definitely used simplenote since porting over, but may have not opened the missing note since then.

  When I went to use the note today it was gone.  I switched over to my computer and when the app (not browser) opened the note was there briefly, but then disappeared when it refreshed.  It is not in the trash, and not available through the web-interface either.

  any chance this is recoverable?

  Hi, @giorapb500c43ae6! Did you check Trash on both the desktop app and the web app? Also, please check revisions.

  If there are any notes in Trash, it’s worth restoring them so you can view their history. Pay particular attention to any blank notes you can see or titles you don’t recognize.

  To search the history, open a note and click the clock icon at the top, then move the slider.

  Also, use the search field to check for content that may have been in the note. We don’t recommend just searching for the title, as we’ve seen people have trouble finding notes when accidentally deleting or changing the title text.
