Login and sync issues

I’m trying to log in using the password and sometimes I can connect and sometimes not, login via code is OK, and I’m trying this on the iOS app, Windows App, and Web, when I do connect, the sync isn’t working. I’ve already downloaded and uploaded the json export file to see if it helps but sync is not working.
Anyone having the same issue?

Hi. Sync problems have become rather common lately if you’re having trouble accessing the server at simperium.com. It sometimes clears up after a few hours or days. Accessing a different internet provider network (mobile vs wifi) or maybe a VPN can help. If you look around this forum, you will find many threads with “server” or “sync” in their titles.
I hope you did not re-import the backup file that you exported. If that was successful, you will now have duplicates of your notes.

@johnswift37 I did re-import the backup file, and yes I have everything duplicated. I know there’s been problems with Simperium, I use Brave browser and when using the Tor-private window I can access to simperium.com. Today everything works fine, but I’ve noticed that every few months this same problem happens again, so I guess my only hope is for the Simplenote team to fix these issues.

The duplicate notes are not a problem with Simplenote, and they will never go away. The problem is that each note is a different thing. We tend to think of them as files, but they are just things. The titles, that we view as names, are just the first lines of each thing, sort of like email subjects. When you restored the backup, you added a bunch of new things; Simplenote does not view them as the same.
