Locked between two email addresses

Hello,
I use the web version on Firefox 119.0, Windows 11.
I used to login to Simplenote with my Gmail adress. I recently tried to updated my login to an email address from my personal domain, but the update wasn’t exactly complete or successful.
REGISTERED WITH GMAIL
Now every time I login to the Web App I’m shown the REVIEW YOUR ACCOUNT screen, showing that I’m currently registered with my Gmail address, and asking me to either change my email address or confirm it. It doesn’t matter which option I choose, the confirmation email doesn’t arrive (either to Gmail to confirm it or to the new email address I’m trying to change the registration to).
BUT MY PERSONAL DOMAIN EMAIL IS SHOWN IN THE EDIT ACCOUNT SCREEN
If I choose “Edit Account” on the Settings screen of the Web App it shows the other email address, the one from my personal domain, in the line “The email address you use to log in”. If I try to edit that one – say to, revert it to the original gmail login, – I get the following error message:
“Could not update email. Still having trouble? Please contact us”Yes, I still have trouble! Could anyone help? I have access to both email addresses, so that wouldn’t be a problem.
