issue syncing notes between two iPads

I have an issue syncing notes between two iPads.
I use Simplenote as follows:
On my Samsung phone, 2 iPads (iPad 7th Gen and iPad Pro).
When I add a note on my phone, it appears on both iPads – there is no problem.
If I add a note on either iPad, it appears on my phone but not on the other iPad.Is there a work around or something I am missing? I have signed in and out of the accounts etc.

Hi. If you initialized one of the iPads by restoring a backup from the other, you may have a situation that I experienced. You need to delete the app from the newer device and re-install it. No data will be lost because it’s all in the cloud (make sure first). It seems like a unique device identifier is created in the internal data then the app is installed. But when you restore a backup, the internal data is preserved, and the new device is effectively a clone of the original.
