  Hi. Which platform/browser are you using the Simplenote web app on: PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Linux? If it’s PC, this may have already been discussed here. You could try searching this forum.

  and any of the things suggested work. And the “Introspect” to see the console is not available

  I guess you mean none of the suggestions work, not any.

  There may be a “security” problem with allowing Firefox to access the system clipboard. You need to see if you can grant that permission. That’s really a problem with Firefox and the Linux OS. Not much anyone here can tell you about that, but you could try searching specifically for Linux problems in this forum.
