I have forgotten my password and don’t receive a link via e-mail

  I have forgotten my password. I have tried to send an access link to my e-mail via the browser (>Log iny >forgot your password?). I know the e-mail address. It ends with @posteo.de. However, I do not receive a link.
  Is this due to the e-mail provider?
  What can I do?

  I use Simplenote as a desktop app for Mac (version 2.20) and on the iPhone (version 4.50).
