help in lay language please!!

  I have just got a ‘new’ refurbished iMac, and i use drafts on mail to save messages, recipes, info off the web etc. I have also just downloaded Simplenote, so can I drag or put them into Simplenote from drafts in Mail? I am not tech savvy, so instructions hopefully in plain English please!!
