Gmail Share Missing

  I have a device that has been configured for years (left) and a brand new one that I just added Gmail/Simplenote – the old one has a share to Gmail option but the new one does not – I have seen one other post about this but no answers – how do I get the share to “Gmail” option on the new one?

  The share to Gmail option appears to be present on my Samsung Galaxy S9+. I am attaching a screenshot of what I see on my phone:

  

  Can you please share a few more details? We’ll need:

  • The device you’re using Simplenote on
  • The operating system and version
  • The Simplenote version

  This is a Honywell CK65 running 92.00.09-(0081) – SimpleNote 2.29

  Hi @flwinventoryscanner, thanks for sharing your device details! I found a similar report, so I added your case there.

  We don’t have a timeline for when this will be fixed. The alternative solution to share a note will be:

  1. Share the note with the Collaborate Panel. An email with the note content will be emailed to the account owner. Note that this also means that they have access to the shared note to edit it.
  2. Publish the note and use the published link to share it with others. Do not use this option if your note content contains private information.
  3. Copy the note content and paste it in the email app to send it to others.
