Glitch or just a setting

I have been using Simplenote for years without issue and it still works fine on my iPad but since I’ve been using it on my Samsung s24 ultra things are different. I can place the cursor where I want to type and I can enter text without issue, but as soon as I hit enter the cursor moves all the way to the bottom of the page. So now I have to scroll back to where I was entering text to continue with my note.
Has anyone experienced this or have a solution? The app is current. Thanks -

If you are still having this issue, and have a samsung phone, it’s a conflict with the samsung keyboard typing corrections feature. For other phones it may be something else or something similar. Here is the fix for samsung:
Go into settings app, navigate to the Samsung keyboard settings. Tap on “suggest text corrections”. Tap “manage apps”. Find Simplenote and make it unchecked. This will only disable the feature for Simplenote and it will still work in other apps.
