Feedback about login captcha

Hi, I love Simplenote and am immensely grateful for its existence. But there is one major problem which keeps it from being as useful as it could be — the login captcha shows up too often and is too time consuming. Especially compared to other websites with a “captcha” that doesn’t make you do anything at all once it decides that you aren’t a bot. For me the captcha shows up every few days even though I never try to log out and there is nothing atypical about my browser.

Hi. Your browser may be deleting the cookie that “remembers” the captcha state, in the interests of “privacy” or “security”. I’ve also found that the captcha works better when I allow “cross-site tracking” in the browser settings. These are trade-offs we need to make.
Also, if your device/computer is one of the supported devices, you could install the Simplenote app which only needs to login once. It will still sync with the web server.
