Export doesn’t export all of the notes

Hello,
I have 2000+ notes that I have written over a decade. However, export only exports about 300 of them. Why? How to export ALL of them with metadata. Thanks.

Hi. Are you doing the Export from the web app, app.simplenote.com? Be sure you’re not using the /old web version.
I just checked my latest export, and it has 985 txt files, the same as I (tediously) counted in the iOS Simplenote app. Not sure if they’re all present in the .json file, though. Could you see if all your notes are in the txt files from the export?

Further to my previous post, I finally figured out how to count the number of objects in the exported json file. There are 984 objects in the json file, the same as 984 txt files (previous count was off by 1). So the export seems to be complete, at least up to around 1000 notes.

Yes, I’m using app.simplenote.com.
Now that I tried again there are indeed all 2395 txt files amd objects in the json file like there should be. This is really strange. Yesterday that was definitely not the case.

I’m glad to hear things are working today, and you were able to get everything in the JSON file that should have been there. If it starts acting up incorrectly again, please do let us know.
