Empty line in blockqoute

  After going to preview mode, paragraphs that are suing using Markdown blockquote (>) have an additional empty line in quote style above them. I tested my paragraphs in other Markdown editors, and only Simplenote adds this empty line. this is not the biggest issue, but it doesn’t look right. Is there a possibility to make it generate blockquotes without this additional empty line?

  @unber Could you please tell us on which platform you’re noticing this extra line? Or, is it appearing on all your devices?

  Have you also spotted it on the Simplenote web app at https://app.simplenote.com/? To help us replicate the issue, could you provide some of the following details:

  • the devices you’re using Simplenote on
  • their operating systems and versions
  • the Simplenote versions on each,
  • the browser and version you’re using to access https://app.simplenote.com.
