Duplicating words/characters

  I’m experiencing a bug where words get duplicated in a note. Here are two examples of when it happened:

  I wrote a line that said “Local help files” and after I closed the note, edited the note on a different device, and opened the note again, the line was changed to “Local help files help files”.

  I wrote the word “customize”. Again, I edited the note on a different device and opened the note on the original device. The text changed to “customizeize”. So it’s not just words but sometimes parts of words get duplicated.

  I believe that this is related to a synchronization issue since it tends to happen after I edited a note on a different device.

  I’m using Simplenote on my PC (Version 2.21.0) and on my iPhone (Version 4.49).

  Hi @makotoe1. Supposedly this was fixed by the server update reported here:

  https://forums.simplenote.com/forums/topic/simplenote-servers-performance-issues-august-2023/page/2/#post-882

  That was enough to fix similar issues on iPad for me. Can you confirm that it is still happening for you, after August 10th?
