Deleted note

HI, I was coping text into a note I have on the go and it went wrong so I hit delete to delete the new text. Unfortunately it deleted the whole note. Which then kicked me out of that note and back to the home page in the app. For some reason it even deleted the heading too. So now the note is no longer in the app anywhere. Trash folder or otherwise. So I can’t find the previous history version.
There must be a way to relieve this note. It’s got heaps of info in it that I need back. If I could find a certain of it somewhere, anywhere.

Hi. You could try the web app at https://app.simplenote.com/login/ in case the delete might not have been synched.

@benlynas3, @johnswift37’s suggestion is a good one.
In addition, to be clear, did you check all the notes in Trash? If you hadn’t, I suggest sorting notes by the last modified date from the app settings before you start checking.
Then, it may be worth restoring notes from the Trash so you can view their history. Pay particular attention to any blank notes you can see or titles you don’t recognize.
To search the history, open a note and click the clock icon at the top, then move the slider.
You can also use the search field to check for content that may have been in the note. We don’t recommend just searching for the title, as we’ve seen people have trouble finding notes when accidentally deleting or changing the title text.
