  I was wondering if there was way for a user to use something like Dropbox to sync Simplenote across devices.
  
  Benefit to me – more direct control and ability to continue using this great app if, for any reason, SimpleNote’s server went down
  
  Possible benefit to SimpleNote – reduced costs?
  
  I do rely rather heavily on SimpleNote, these days ;)

  There isn’t a plan to add third-party sync services to the app, but I have added this request to our feature request list. We cannot guarantee if, or when we may add something like this but rest assured, it’s on our radar now.
