clicking Internal links doesn’t work
-
IOS
When adding an internal link, it gets inserted in the note, but when you click it, it goes to edit the link and now opening it as I would expect. After it goes to edit it, it is no longer possible to follow the link unless you exit it and reopen it. The wait to follow a link it unintuitive as you have to hold it and then you get an option to open it. This makes the internal link feel slow and clunky.
WINDOWS
To follow a link you have to hold ctrl, which can work but since the standard for a link is just one click, it becomes a little hassle as it doesnt behave as you would expect it to.

Hi. In the iOS Simplenote app, the trick is to hide the screen keyboard, then long press on the link. I’ve never experienced an option to open the link. I am unable to use links in the Simplenote web app. Long press just gives a popup advising to use cmd+click.

Thanks for sharing that workaround, @johnswift37
@thebravo8080 please feel free to use that workaround until a fix is implemented :)
