Change Email assc with account

hey all. I want to get rid of email currently linked to account and add new one. I’m nervous to “sign out” from the account afraid I may lose data or have to start all over again with a new Simple Note. Thoughts?

The safe way would be to Export your notes; option available in web app, Windows app, maybe others. Then create a new account with new email, etc., and restore the exported notes. Finally, delete the old Simplenote account, since it is no further use.
I believe you can interactively change the email, but it often requires assistance from the host here to complete the switch.
