Capitalized vs lowercase on tags searcher & editor

Hi, I want to inform you and possibly ask a solution about the problem with tags searcher & editor. Someone else has made similar post around a year ago (https://forums.simplenote.com/forums/topic/tag-drawer/) but I’m not sure if I should necro-ing that one so I just make a new one instead. Sorry in advance.
So, I know that tags are case sensitive. For example we are allowed to make both “mental” and “Mental” as tags. But somehow, tags searcher and editor doesn’t work quite as intended in regards to that.
Tags searcher will treat both words as the same thing. It doesn’t matter whether I search for the capitalized one or lowercase one, tags searcher will lump them together and as the result, I will ended up with notes that either has “mental” OR “Mental” as tag.
But when I use tags editor, it only shows the capitalized one. For example if I have 5 notes tagged with “Mental” and 1 note tagged with “mental”, it will only show me the “Mental” and number “5”. The lowercase one is basically non-existent according to it.
I use this app on android and pc. Same problem for both.

Ideally, we would have case insensitive across the board, but we understand that some users might prefer case sensitivite. We’re actively seeking the best solution for all our users. So, thanks again for your input!
