Can’t start account?

Hello I’m trying to switch over to simple note from evernote. I have installed the app from the App Store, and the first thing it wants is my email address and then says it will send me an email. I have not received an email. Just in case I at one point made an account and forgot, I also tried the forgot password route, it said it would send me an email if I had an account, no email. The app also gives me an email address to contact in case I have trouble signing up, which I did. I received a form reply suggesting that I post here. Does anyone have any idea why I can’t seem to get an email from simple note so that I can set up an account? Thank you.

Can you try signing up again through the web app at https://app.simplenote.com/signup/?
If you did sign up from the web app but didn’t get an email, please try these steps:
1) Do a global search on your email account or check the spam/junk folders for this email:
Create your Simplenote Account
2) Disable all browser’s extension
3) Try with another browser
4) Try with another internet connection

Same exact problem as described, but the link above to the “web app” DID send a sign-up email! Thanks!
