Can’t login to this forum iOS (wordpress login works, but doesn’t activate)

I can’t login to this forum despite successfully logging in to wordpress. iOS 18 Safari, turned content blockers off
Could you maybe add a regular direct email registration alternative like a lot of forums do instead of using just a single sso provider?

There is no such button, it’s on the mid-left on the main page on a mobile screen
But then after I’ve ovepened the first thread and clicked the button login button, it worked, redirected me back to the thread! Still an awful experience for such a basic action. Maybe replace the button on the first page with the button at the bottom of any thread?

I see. In this forum’s landscape view (on iOS), there’s a top menu with a working Login button at the top left. In portrait view, this is replaced by a floating hamburger menu (3 dots in a column) at the lower left that includes the same Login option. The Login button in the mid-left does not work properly; seems to put you in a loop.

The button that says “Log in to add new topics” puts you in a loop. The Login button in the top row works. This is iOS Safari on an iPad.
