Can’t login after I changed my email

I changed my email. I received an email saying, “Your Simplenote account email has been successfully changed to <new email>” but I could not login with my new email. How can I fix this?

Specifically:
• If I login via <new email>, it says that there’s no account with that email.
• If I login via <old email>, it says I need to verify my email. I have verified my old email, but it still shows me this message, doesn’t let me actually login.
