Can’t log in

    From the web I can [try to] log in with my password but Simplenote logs me out immediately.

    When I try to log in via email I enter the code given but receive the message:
    Login failed, please try again.

    I am still logged into the MacOS app and was fortunately able to download my notes but at this point I just want to log in so that I can close my account. This was once a wonderful program but no longer.

    Are you still seeing this issue? We’ve seen other users having temporary issues with logging in that resolved itself after a while.

    If you’re still having issues, please check the following:
     
    1. Do you perhaps have a firewall, VPN, or ad-blocker active on your device that could interrupt your network connection?
    2. Please also check your primary WiFi connection. In particular, please see if it has any sort of ad-blocking or filtering installed on it. One example would be this: https://pi-hole.net/
     
    You can also try connecting to a different network or even to mobile data. Then, please see if the issue doesn’t occur with that connection.

    yes, i changed my e-mail 2 or 3 days before have this issue

    There are a slew of problems associated with logins. I tried all sorts to things to try to get this to work and finally just gave up. I am now using Joplin, which may not be as elegant and requires some fiddling to sync among platforms, but when I WAS still using SimpleNote I had problems with both the electron and web versions on both Mac and Linux. Your developers need to look at whatever they did about 6 months ago to screw up logins. Start there.
