can’t log in

I have been using Simplenote for years, and today I opened the app only to find that I was logged out. When I tried entering my email to log back in, I didn’t receive any email from you. I’ve also tried all my email addresses and passwords, but I can’t seem to recover my account.
I created a new account using the email (email visible only to moderators and staff), which I believe was already linked to my old account with important notes. When I logged into this new account, I briefly saw my old notes, but they disappeared shortly after.
Could you please assist me with this? I really need those notes as they are extremely important to me.

Hi. Try logging in to your account at app.simplenote.com in a browser. It says it will send you an email, but you can also use your password. If that looks good, it’ll be relatively easy to fix your app. Incidentally, on which computer or device are you using the Simplenote app?
