Can’t log back in

I wanted to log in to SimpleNote on the laptop. I couldn’t get logged in with my saved password. I remembered that I had originally had to sign up with my WordPress account because I couldn’t get an account set up with just email, so I tried signing in with that password. No dice. During this process, I accidentally touched the sign out option on the app on my phone and now I also can’t get signed back in on the app. I choose sign in with wordpress, I’m signed in on wordpress, and I authorize it, and it takes me to a 401 not found page.
so now I can’t log in anywhere and can’t access my notes at all.Ideas? I was moving to Simplenote from Evernote but it’s kind of just been one issue after another.
