Can’t edit a note on Android

  I had that bug on different Android phones over the last five years.

  Simplenote works fine until someday, I can’t figure out why or when, I click on a note, try to edit it and can’t enter in edit mode with the cursor appearing int the text.

  To solve the problem, I usually do one of these things:

  1- Click the preview button of the note and go back to edit mode

  2- Close the note and reopen it.

  Over the years, I tried to clear the cache of the app, uninstall and reinstall it, log out and log in, check all my phone for viruses, keeping the app always up to date…

  The problem occurred on Android 10 to 14, On different phone: Samsung, Motorola, Xiaomi, OnePlusPro and on any version of the Simplenote app.

  3. Have you made any recent changes to your device, such as updating the operating system or installing new apps?
  4. If possible, please describe the exact steps you take to trigger the issue.
