Can not delete account

I am trying to delete my account (since it has been hacked) but the system will not send me a password.

I’m planning on filing a lawsuit against simple not for refusing to delete my account. I have the address for my lawyer to use as 60 29th St Ste 343, San Francisco,
California, 94110, United States, but it would also be helpful to have a phone number.Is there a way to get the phone number for the corporate office?

I’ve reached out to you by email about this password reset issue, which will need to be resolved for the account to be deleted. For security reasons we don’t delete accounts on request from a forum post, but rather recommend you follow the guide here. We do need to communicate with the email address on file for an account directly to assist with access or data deletion questions for security reasons, so let’s keep the conversation going over the email I sent you.
I did want to reply publicly, in case others have a similar question, about where to find our phone number. While Simplenote doesn’t offer phone support you can find the address and phone number for the company that owns it, Automattic at our contact page here: https://automattic.com/contact/
