[Bug] tapping internal link flashes blank screen and returns to notes list

    Hey Simplenote team,

    First, just want to say thank you: I’ve been using Simplenote for over 6 years now and it’s still my favorite note app by far. Lightweight, fast, and distraction-free + RTL text works great 👌

    I’ve noticed a bug on my device: when I tap a link to another note (a link pointing to another Simplenote note), the app briefly shows a white screen and then returns to the main notes list instead of opening the linked note.

    Expected behavior:
    The linked note should open

    Device details:

    Device: BlackBerry KEY2 (with the physical keyboard)

    OS: Android 8.1.0

    App version: latest from Play Store as of November 2025 = 2.37 (184)

    Let me know if I can help test a fix or share logs.
