Bug(?): Cannot get rid of exit window prompt

  So I cannot get rid of this message every time I try to exit the app. It’s a note that was taking a long time to sync, so I deleted it from the app. Now whenever I try and exit the program, this box inevitably will appear even if I click “close anyway”.

  Please advise, thank you.

  Hi. “Long time to sync” is very unusual behavior for Simplenote, so there may be a problem with your internet connection, or its ability to reach the cloud server at simperium.com.

  I guess you’re using the Simplenote Windows app. Have you tried “Export unsynchronized notes”? That might break the error chain.

  Yes, windows app and yes, I have tried exporting as well several times (successfully if I might add), but the error message just doesn’t go away and didn’t break the error chain. Nonetheless, very annoying bug.

  If I reinstall the program, all my notes will stay, correct?

  Yes, your notes should be restored from the server when you reinstall. You can confirm that they’re on the server by logging in to app.simplenote.com in a browser. That’s the web version of Simplenote. You can change the sort order to latest updated to confirm that recent changes are there.
