Blocking an application in a widget

There is a flaw in your application. If you lock it with a password and make a widget on your desktop, then the password is not requested. All notes are visible in the widget without a password. Please fix this, I care about the security of my notes.

Could you please clarify if you’re using the Simplenote MacOS, Windows, or Linux desktop app? We’d also appreciate it if you could provide us with the following details:
- The devices on which you use Simplenote
- Their operating systems and versions
- The Simplenote versions on each device
Also, to confirm, are you setting up the passcode lock and the widget on the same device?
