  Anyone found a way to not automatically uppercase after a carriage return?

  I prefer to default to lowercase.

  Hi @draws09! Simplenote relies on your operating system for auto-capitalization. So in order to disable it within Simplenote, you would need to make the adjustment system-wide.

  This can be disabled on macOS within System Preferences > Keyboard > Text by unchecking the box next to “Capitalize words automatically”.

  It can also be disabled on iOS by navigating to Settings > General > Keyboard and disabling “Auto-Capitalization”.
