auto backup?

i run a manual export of simplenotes every sunday. but sometimes during the week an automatic export runs. why and how can i change this? the top one is the “automatic” one and the bottom one is the one i run every sunday.

Not sure if you intended to share some screenshots of what you are referring to – could you perhaps upload it to a service like Google Drive and then share the shareable link here?
That said, we do not have an automatic backup option within our app. We’d need more information to determine what might be happening here, like the device model you are using, operating system, and app version number.

windows 10, simple sticky notes 6.7.5.0
the second line shows the export that i ran last sunday, and the first line shows an export that seems to run by itself.
this isn’t really a problem, i just wonder why it happens.

To echo what @johnswift37 said, it appears that you are referring to a different program. Perhaps an app of a similar name like this one?
