App repeats numbers when typing letters or numbers in certain order
-
After the last update of Simple note, my Samsung Galaxy A72 Android ver 13 inserts double letters when certain patters of numbers or letters or typed from my keyboard. I have the same app on my Lenovo tablet. And here is no problem.
Example: typing 12 on keyboard gives 112, typing 1234kr gives 12341234kr

Hi @freddiee69gmailcom 👋
May I confirm if the app version you’re using is 2.26 (155)?
I tried typing those characters on an Android 13 device but couldn’t reproduce the issue. If you use the Samsung keyboard, please disable Grammarly and let us know how that goes.
To disable Grammarly, open the Settings app on your device, search for Samsung Keyboard, tap Suggest Text Corrections, and turn off the options there.
Thanks!

Hi,
I also have this issue, it is not caused by the samsung keyboard as this only began after an app update.

Hi @staff-romina
Device make: samsung
Model: s20 note ultra 5g
Android version 13
Simplenote version: 2.26
Would it be possible to get an apk to a previous version? The app is almost unusable from this bug.

Thanks again for reporting the issue! Our developers have identified the issue and worked on a fix. The next app update will fix the problem (version 2.27). Please keep an eye out for an app update from the Google Play Store in the next few weeks, and let us know if the issue persists.

Hi @losprymus!
Version 2.27 should already be released. You’ll find the update from the Google Play Store if you haven’t downloaded it yet. Let us know if the issue is still happening following the update.
Thank you!

I’m having the exact same issue, and the google play store still says version 2.26. Is there another way to get the update?

Hi folks!
Thanks for surfacing this. I’ve asked our team to investigate why the new version hasn’t been fully rolled out yet. We’ll update you when this is available.
Cheers!

We’ve just pushed through the release, so you all should see version 2.27 available shortly if you weren’t seeing it before.
Thanks again for checking in on this!
