  Is it possible to get an API key to run locally build NVAlt fork for ARM64?

  At this moment, we do not provide a Simplenote API key to our users. NValt had worked on a simplenote integration in the past, but I don’t believe this is supported anymore.

  If there are features of Simplenote that you’d like us to include, we’re happy to add those to our feature request board.

  I’m using NVAlt on the Mac and Simplenote on iOS for many years, and its integration with Simplenote works perfectly. The problem is that there are no official recent builds of NVAlt for arm64 (also with many other fixes). It would be great to get access to my own notes. Are there any specific terms or exceptions for cases like this? Is there an API key that will work only for my account, for example?

  We don’t have a work around or exceptions for cases like this. There isn’t an API key that will work only with your account. I’ve let the team know you’d really like one though to keep the integration you’ve had for years with NVAlt and Simplenote.
