Android app has stopped syncing from 1-2 days

Android app simply stopped syncing out of nowhere. The webapp and pc app still sync to server and get note updates but not the mobile app.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the mobile app and logged in without issues but there is no syncing happening and there are no notes on my phone now.

Its working for me. Write in the web version and see if it shows in the pc version and vice versa

Hi. Simplenote is syncing fine for me between iOS app, Windows app, and web app. Ordinary home wifi. Sync is essentially instant. So there’s no problem with the servers; more likely on your local networks.

It is syncing fine for the web and windows app for me. Just android app is not syncing.

The Windows (Chrome) version is stuck syncing for me, and new notes I add on Android aren’t appearing in Windows.

And to add to this, I have just logged out of Simplenote on Windows (running in Chrome) and logged back in, and it has lost all of my notes. I do have a backup plus I’m still logged into my account on Android where I still have my notes but still, I am a bit worried.

@dominickini. I believe your notes were only stored in the browser cache, because you were unable to upload (sync) them to the server. Logging out and back in caused the browser to clear the cache, erasing them.

I didn’t lose just the (two) notes I had been editing – but every single note I had ever written back to 2018. I did take a backup just before logging out and logging back in, and I still have access to my notes (before my most recent edits) on Android. Hopefully this doesn’t cause me to lose my notes on Android.
