All my notes have gone after changing to new phone – icloud backup

  I have lost all my notes it seems. My Simplenote account on my phone was under the username/email (email visible only to moderators and staff) but the loginshowsno notes

  Hi. Your notes have not gone. For some reason, you are unable to access the server at simperium.com (not iCloud) where the notes are stored. Try acessing through another network (WiFi vs mobile) or maybe a VPN.

  Thanks for getting back to me and leaving a reply to my question. I appreciate this.

  I will have to try the VPN method because nothing else is working.

  I know that I should have exported my valuable (to me) texts but I always had faith in Apple iCloud. I pay them for extra storage etc & have never had this problem with multiple phone upgrades or wipes & backups etc.

  I just want to re-emphasize that your Simplenote content is not stored on Apple iCloud. It is stored on the servers at simperium.com, run by Automattic, the provider of Simplenote.
