    A couple of days ago web version wasn’t accessible (the same account, different devices), while the mobile app was fine. A day after wed was restored.
    This morning couldn’t log in to web. Lasted an hour or may be a bit more. After it was restored, my all notes are gone.
    I tried different devices, web and the mobile app – my all notes disappeared.
    Assuming, there was a chain of incidents on the server side.

    #SUPPORT# please help to restore my notes.

    Hi. Could you please identify your ISP, e.g Verizon, British Telecom, Xfinity, etc.? Have you tried accessing through a different network, cell phone maybe? I’m asking because some users are having trouble accessing simperium.com, the file server for Simplenote, and that might be caused by the internet provider.

    Don’t think it was due to the ISP. I had access to the service. I just didn’t have my notes in it.
    Anyway, it’s been fixed. Seems was an issue on the server side.

    server with problem? My SimpleNote is not connecting on my cell phone, nor when logging into the website??

  • @renansouzaacre Are you still having trouble accessing your notes either on the mobile app or the web app? If yes, can you see if switching to a different network connection fixes the issue? That can help us narrow down the cause of problem.

    I started experiencing the same issue a couple of days ago. Using VPN somehow helps to resolve the problem. But that’s not an option for me (every time when I need to sync my notes I have to use VPN? And there’s always a risk a data loss).

    What happened? Last week everything worked fine.

    OK, I give up. Simplenote has been perfect for me for many years. But now it’s just impossible to use it. It works for a while then it doesn’t. I try to use VPN and it helps, but then it doesn’t. I just can’t rely on Simplenote anymore.

    I hope you’ll be able to fix it, but now I’m forced to move my notes to another more reliable app

  • @alexeyesenin if you’re able to sync without error while using a VPN, have you tried connecting to another Wi-Fi network or using the cellular network to see if there is something with your primary internet connection that’s causing the problem?

    If you’re able to connect from a VPN and from another network, you may want to reach out to your internet service provider to see if there could be something on their end that’s preventing you from accessing our sync servers. Please let us know what you find!
