Account broken – can’t login to apps, no recent data in web view

    I’ve been a power user for years, and have Simplenote on 3 devices

    My notes recently stopped syncing, so I went through a range of steps

    Logging out of desktop apps and trying to log back in

    Each app gives me a ‘We’re having problems. Please try again soon.’ message when trying to login with correct account credentials

    I tried explicitly updating apps. Same message

    I tried logging into web view. It only shows me notes from 3 years ago. Nothing recent sync’d. Though my desktop apps were all syncing successfully to each other just days ago, so I have no idea why nothing is showing there.

    So not sure what on Earth is going on there. Seem to have lost years of notes and can’t get into the desktop apps.

    Hmm. That is strange. Have you changed anything with your internet connection recently? Maybe firewall, ad blocker, new router, IPv6?

    Since your desktop apps were synching with each other, that means the server was being updated. So it’s strange that the web only shows old notes. You could try deleting browser data from simplenote.com and simperium.co.

    Also, be sure to use app.simplenote.com for the web app, no “/old”.
