Yes, I believe so. The web server appears to be down. If you have the Simplenote app on your device/computer, it should still be working.

I just checked in iOS app, and it is still syncing correctly. So the problem is just with the web server (app.simplenote.com), not with the cloud servers.

I’ve been using Simplenote for about 5 years now, and it’s still one of my most-used web apps. Never ran into any issues until today, so I’m totally fine with that.

Except that when I sign into my iOS app, all my notes were GONE. I highly recommend everyone export their notes out immediately.

I just realized that this might be the same login problem reported by users who change their password or email. Maybe it now applies to everyone. Not a good sign.

The web server has just come back to life. I tried and failed, tried iOS Safari and it worked, went back to iCabMobile and it works!

still 500 error for me.
The web app is down several days without an official communication from Automattic. To be honest, i don’t trust Simpenote anymore and will switch to something else

I cannot log in to Simplenote when I open a browser window. My apps appear to be working.

I was able to log in to the web app at this time. Don’t know if this means it is finally fixed, or just temporary.

However, if any of you still have a problem accessing it, please let us know here. There might be a separate individual issue that we need to look at.
